As you’re no doubt aware, the Coronavirus/COVID-19 virus is wreaking havoc around the world. As representatives of the health industry, we feel it appropriate to keep you updated with our policies during these times.
We want to help the world get through this, and also make our patients informed and feel comfortable. As such, at the moment we are open as usual, with the addition of appropriate policies in place.
We feel that during these strange times, being happy and healthy should be a priority for everyone, therefore, if you want to come to Health In The Bay for a treatment, we encourage you to do so. Please be aware that if you have symptoms of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 virus, please do postpone your appointment until such a time that you feel you are able to come in. We will not be applying our 24 hour cancellation policy, so if you want to postpone last minute, please feel free to.
We are also taking extra precautions with cleaning and disinfecting surfaces and equipment. In addition, if you wish for masks and gloves to be used during your session, just let us know and we’ll make the necessary arrangements.
In regards to our practitioners, none have been overseas in the past few months, and everyone is on high alert for symptoms, but as we speak, no one here is aware of any exposure to the virus.
Finally, to help you strengthen your immunity, these foods can help you be as strong as possible; garlic, onion, leek, Shiitake mushrooms, turmeric, parsley, blueberries, fresh beetroot, and the always helpful – bone (or vegetable) broth.
