Is Chiropractic safe for seniors?
Absolutely. The way I work and the techniques I use are well suited to a wide range of patients. I use gentle low force techniques and muscle release techniques that can be readily tailored to your individual needs and comfort levels. I may also prescribe some gentle, simple stretches to help maintain mobility and reduce stiffness.
Not only is it safe, it can be very beneficial. As we get older, our joints get a little stiffer, our muscles a little weaker and those past injuries start catching up with us. These factors can make life a bit more difficult. You may feel moving around and doing your regular activities requires more effort and energy, and you feel less motivated to stay active. As the saying goes “use it, or lose it”. That certainly is the case with fitness, muscle strength and mobility.
Chiropractic is a very effective way to balance the body, allowing joints and muscles to move as freely and easily as possible. It can reduce pain and stiffness which helps immensely in not only allowing you to be more mobile, but just as importantly increasing your energy and motivation to be active.
If you are considering whether Chiropractic could be of benefit to you, but aren’t sure or have a few questions, why not take advantage of our obligation free consult and/or assessment to answer your questions and help you decide what your next step in health care could be.

Chiropractic
Chiropractic is a gentle and safe complementary health care system that is effective in helping reduce muscle and joint aches and pains. The role of a Chiropractor is to balance and realign the physical/structural components of our bodies (ie the muscles and the bones/joints). If these are balanced and positioned as they should be then our body is functioning most efficiently and ergonomically. More…
